Benjamin Derlan is currently pursuing his Masters of Architecture at the Yale School of Architecture. Prior to Yale, he worked with the Neighborhood Design Center and The 6th Branch in Baltimore, MD to increase access to healthy public space through the greening and revitalization of vacant lots. His writing has been published in MOLD Magazine and Paprika! In his work, he aims to explore new models for collective ownership, local agriculture, and ethical and sustainable construction methods in the built environment.
