Project Manager:

Between 2005 and 2008, the YUDW worked with the Town of Bethany, Connecticut to study the 126 acre site of a former air field, including the re-use of a large Quonset hut formerly used a an airplane hangar (currently under construction), and the development of a senior affordable housing project. Used for a wide variety of community events and both active and passive recreational activities, the YUDW developed a comprehensive plan for the future uses and development of the site and the hanger, recognizing both the history of the site and its opportunities as a major public open space in the town.
