The Thames River Water Taxi, planned as part of the Thames River Heritage Park, began operation this weekend with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Fort Trumbull State Park in New London on Sunday. The Water Taxi connects the New London Waterfront District, Fort Trumbull and Groton Bank with regular service every weekend.
